Visual Designer. Marketing Strategist. Community Builder.

Hi, my name is Aistė (ice-tay)!

I am an artist, visual designer, and marketing consultant with 4+ years ofindependent client and agency experience in Seattle, Washington. From digital graphic design and mural painting to video production and copywriting, I am passionate about using various media to tell engaging stories that inspire communities, elevate brands, and support business goals.

I bring over seven years of experience working in the nonprofit, corporate, and government sectors producing stories across digital and traditional platforms. I use a holistic approach to producing campaigns that influence behavior change and community solutions.

My professional experiences range from developing capital campaigns for Path with Art, digital environmental campaigns for Cascadia Consulting Group, organizing creative placemaking initiatives for mix-use redevelopment projects with Electric Works and Big Car Collaborate to producing transmedia marketing campaigns for various global media organizations, including Circle of Blue. As a graduate student at the Center for Emerging Media Design & Development at Ball State University, I developed the transmedia storytelling experience My Climate Journey in partnership with Earth Charter Indiana.

My lived experiences as a Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing, Queer, first-generation college student, and immigrant, in addition to my professional experiences with strategic communication, fundraising, and management, have made me appreciate the human cultural diversity in our world, taught me how to collaborate with people who have different life experiences and levels of accessibility, and have developed my passions for art, travel, storytelling, climate justice, and mental wellness.

From developing a transmedia campaign for World Water Day at The Vatican to conducting water quality research for farming families in rural Honduras, I have learned that good storytelling can transform the world for the better. As an immigrant growing up in America, listening to people’s stories was a way to connect with others and navigate the world around me. I became inspired by people’s unique stories of courage and resilience to overcome complex social and environmental issues in their communities. Today, I continue to tell stories that inspire and broaden people’s perspectives to create a more just, creative, and sustainable world.

In my free time, I’m either making art, learning ASL, practicing therapeutic art, or hiking trails in the PNW with my rescue pup Leila.
